I haven’t gotten back to my regular intensity of weekly workouts but I did manage to learn a new skill for hiking uphill and looked forward to this weekends hike.
We took the kids with us for the weekend’s hike up to Rich Mountain Tower.
It was a beautiful warm Spring day!

The kids are a little slower but I really enjoyed this one.
We passed a few AT thru hikers too.

The last time we did this trail, it was snowing and we didn’t get to go up the tower.

Highly recommend this 3-ish hour trail!

The Rest Step and Pressure Breathing techniques were game changers for me personally doing this trail. I feel like I could have walked another 10 miles easy!
